End of the Lockdown Blues
Nearly four months since our last Major due to the Covid-19 Lock-down and we were back in action at The Bristol, and it didn’t disappoint.
We had a large group of 19 including 3 guests, who have since joined us. The course was in great condition especially the greens. The weather also played its part being dry and sunny with a slight to moderate breeze at times.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions still in place there was plenty of social distancing, staying in our designated playing groups but still plenty of laughter especially when the balls tried to social distance from the holes.
Also due to the restrictions there was no nearest the pin and also no meal afterwards. However no-one minded and still enjoyed themselves. The best thing was being able to play a Major again.
As for the golf Roan didn’t let the lock-down stop him winning back to back majors.
