A fine win for Gene Lewis, at Alice Springs Golf Club with 34 points.  2nd Place, after count back went to Brian Levy also 34 points and despite managing to break his trolley half way around the course, Norman Pascal took 3rd spot with 33 points.

The Usk course at Alice Springs was in pretty good condition, considering the amount of rain we had had prior to the day.  A few people commented that they were not too impressed with the greens. Another comment was that there were too many blind approaches.

Rain! did it ever.  Fortunately the showers although heavy only lasted for a short time.  There was even a bit of sunshine.

Hospitality, the food was good, it was just a shame that we had to wait so long for it.  The staff where friendly and the feeling was that this was a good venue.

Gene was given the responsibility of looking after the hot pepper sauce, until the next competition.
